Tuesday Is National Pancake Day
Get a free short stack of flapjacks at IHOP from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The International House of Pancakes restaurant chain has dubbed Tuesday, March 1 as "National Pancake Day."
IHOP is offering a free short stacks flapjacks from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and asks diners to consider leaving a donation to the Children's Miracle Network and other local charities.
In a release, IHOP said it raised more than $2.1 million during last year's event and $5.35 million since the program began in 2006. IHOP says its served 10.1 million free pancakes for the cause since 2006. The release states this year's goal is $2.3 million.
