Several PennDOT Road Projects Will Hamper Upper Mac Drivers This Week

Route 100 will be down to one lane between Mohr Road and Tilghman Street.

Several PennDOT road projects will hamper Upper Macungie Township motorists this week.

The largest one will be a 24-hour operation lasting through Friday at 6 a.m. on Route 100 between Mohr Lane/Hilltop Road and Tilghman Street.

PennDOT said Route 100 will be restricted to a single lane of alternating traffic controlled by flaggers for road widening work. A contractor is performing the work for Upper Macungie Township and Jaindl Land Company. Motorists can expect significant delays and may wish to find alternate routes.
