UPDATE: PennDOT Says One Local Road Now Closed Due To Flooding

Minesite/Schantz Road between PA 29/Cedar Crest Boulevard and Cetronia Road in Lower and Upper Macungie Townships is now open to traffic.

PennDOT reports, in a release, that the following local road remains closed due to flooding:

  • Mill Creek/Spring Creek Road between Trexlertown and Lower Macungie roads in Lower Macungie Township.

Minesite/Schantz Road between PA 29/Cedar Crest Boulevard and Cetronia Road in Lower and Upper Macungie Townships is now open to traffic, according to PennDOT.

PennDOT said in the release that motorists should not drive across roads covered with water, as  itmay be deeper than it looks. PennDOT's release said motorists who encounter water covered roads are encouraged to turn around and seek an alternate route.
