PennDOT announced the following roadwork in Upper Macungie Township this week:
-- Interstate 78 between Exit 49 (Route 100) and Exit 51 (Route 22) for the milling and paving of the area of Interstate 78 damaged by the oil spill. Work will only occur on Monday through Thursday nights from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
-- Farmington Road between the Berks County Line and Route 222 Thursday for milling and paving work Thursday between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Lane restrictions will be in force.
