Five Things to Know This Week: Sept. 19 - Sept. 25

1.     Meetings: Parkland School Board meets Tuesday at 8 p.m. and the Upper Macungie Planning Commission meets Wednesday at 7 p.m.

2.     Coming Up: Unofficial Autumn started on Labor Day, but the real Autumn begins Friday, Sept. 23. It also marks harvest time for grapes; it’s a bust time for local wineries.

4.     Sports: Parkland has a full week of games and plays football at Easton Friday. The Trojans are 1-1 in the Lehigh Valley Conference, losing to Emmaus and beating Dieruff, 55-7.
