Austin Scott's Federal Lawsuit Tossed

Suit stemmed from alleged 2007 rape case at Penn State.

A federal judge tossed the lawsuit of Parkland High School graduate and former Penn State football player Austin Scott, according to a report from the Patriot-News of Harrisburg.

The report said the suit was filed against the university, police officers and a woman who accused him of rape in 2007. Those charges were eventually dropped, but Scott was dropped from the PSU football team and says his chances to play in the National Football League were harmed.

The report says Scott now works in construction in Scranton.
