Gun Rights Forum
C.E.P.T.A. news announcement for our next event to be held on
Tuesday, March 19th, 2013 titled “Gun Rights Forum”
We have all heard about the ongoing debate on the gun rights issue taking place all over the Country. We at C.E.P.T.A. (Concerned East Penn Taxpayers Association) decided to take on this timely topic right here in our own local area. We have been planning and contacting organizations on both sides of this issue for the last two months. We are excited to announce that we will have an NRA representative coming up from their Washington DC headquarters. We landed a commitment from the NRA within a week and they will be sending Ms. Suzanne Anglewicz to present on the behalf of gun rights. We have been having a hard time finding an opposing view presenter as of now. I have contacted; “Mayors against illegal Guns”, Brady Campaign and Cease fire PA. We at CEPTA would like to be able to present a balanced program so that everyone attending will be able to learn both sides of this important issue. We invite all local mayors and police chiefs to attend so that the public can find out where they stand on this issue. C.E.P.T.A. would like to ask the public for help in finding a presenter for our meeting that will take the opposing view to the NRA. If you can help us out please call or have the presenter or organization call 610-965-3556 and we at C.E.P.T.A.
thank you for your help.

Our C.E.P.T.A. event on “Gun Rights” will center on our Constitutions Second Amendment and give the basics of the differing language used by each group as they make their case for or against your right to “bear arms”. What exactly does that mean and did the Supreme Court settle this matter? Come out and ask your questions and hopefully you will find answers that gives you a better understanding of the concerns from both perspectives. This is a serious national hot button issue that deserves open dialog and debate, and we at C.E.P.T.A. would like to provide that platform for you.
