Kutztown’s First Supercuts Now Open

City Welcomes New Haircare Business


Kutztown residents have a new option for their hair care needs. Supercuts is now open in the Maxatawny Marketplace at 15100 Kutztown Road. This is the first Supercuts in Kutztown, and the location makes it an easy fit for busy schedules.

“The Kutztown community has been very welcoming since we opened in April,” said Supercuts Manager Nicole Byrd. “The staff and stylists are from the area, and over the last few weeks we have all enjoyed getting to know our new guests.”

The talented Kutztown Supercuts stylists participate in ongoing training that allows them to stay current on the latest looks and styles that guests request. Services include haircuts starting at $17 for adults, $14 for seniors and $13 for children (ages 9 and under) as well as other styling, coloring and facial waxing options. The salon is a Paul Mitchell Focus Salon exclusively featuring Paul Mitchell products and tools.

Supercuts is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (later than usual as a convenience to the Kutztown University students and DEKA employees); Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The telephone number is (610) 683-5056. Walk-ins are welcome, or guests can download Supercuts’ free app for convenient mobile check-ins. The salon honors “Bear Bucks” offers, DEKA employees discounts and it accepts all major credit cards and cash.
