“This was a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate our support to those who have made such incredible sacrifices on behalf of our country,” said Richard Ehst, President and Chef Operating Officer for Customers Bank.

“Events such as this give us the opportunity for us to show that we’re more than just a community bank – we’re also a community supporter,” said Ehst, who is himself a former U.S. Marine and Viet Nam War veteran.

Customers Bank and its employees donated or raised a combined $1700 for the Keystone Wounded Warriors organization, which raised more than $13,000 through the Sunday, August 18 event.
