New Tractor Supply Opens In Trexlertown

Old building to be razed to make way for new Giant store.

The Trexlertown business shift officially began July 28 with the grand opening celebration of a new Tractor Supply.

The TN based company vacated its previous store in the Trexlertown Shopping Center and constructed a new facility on an empty lot that previously housed Mayo Autos on Hamilton Blvd. at Constitution Way near Route 100.

Val Mordan, manager of the store, said July 28 marked the grand opening.

She said the new store is approximately the same size as the old one. That means there probably won’t be any hiring in the near future.

Tractor Supply’s old location will be razed and become the site of a new Giant food store. Trexlertown’s current Giant in the Shoppes at Trexler will close by the end of the year, according to Chris Brand, Giant spokesperson.
