New Subway Opens on Route 100

The Subway sandwich chain has several dozen locations in the Lehigh Valley.

But franchisee Michelle Sitoski says her store, which opened late last month in Fogelsville, is unique.

It's the only one in the Lehigh Valley—so far—to get Subway's new "metro" decor.

"It's a more upscale look," Sitoski said in a recent interview at the restaurant, located in the Weis shopping center on Route 100. The "metro" look is in 315 Subways worldwide, she said.

Sitoski, who runs three other local Subways with her father, says a grand opening is scheduled for the Fogelsville location for Saturday Nov. 23.
