The pharmaceutical packaging company Sharp Corp. will present its expansion plans to the Upper Macungie Planning Board next week.

Pharmaceutical packaging company Sharp Corp., which announced its plans to expand its Upper Macungie plant in November, will present updated information Wednesday to the township's planning board.

Sharp, at 7451 Keebler Way, plans to add floor space to build more sterile and climate-controlled  "clean rooms," as well as remodel an adjacent 25,000-square-foot building on Keebler Way for production.

The company will present planners with a resubmission of its land development plan, an overall build out plan and its blueprint for a temporary parking lot on the property.
