Bimbo Bakeries USA Plant Taking Shape
Work continues on the bakery complex, located at 105 Boulder Drive in Upper Macungie.
Months of construction on the Bimbo Bakeries USA plant on Schantz Road are showing results.
Bimbo Bakeries USA is building a new $75 million, state-of-the-art bakery in Upper Macungie that will bring more than 100 jobs to the area and produce bread and buns for the Northeast.
Operations are expected to begin in early 2014.
The 30-acre site is across from Ocean Spray's new facility, which is also currently under construction.
