Auto Repair Shop Planned for Former Gulf Station

The gas tanks have been removed and no fuel will be sold at the new business, at 5204 Tilghman St.

Township officials say an auto repair shop is planned at the former Werley's Gulf service station at 5204 Tilghman St.

Officials informed Patch last week that all of the gas tanks have been removed from the site and gasoline won't be sold at the location, across from the entrance to the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

In February, owners Daniel and Patricia Kuhns were granted a variance by the Upper Macungie Zoning Hearing Board for a front-yard setback in order to construct an addition.
