Air Products Raising Its Prices
Major local employer raising prices to offset operating costs
Air Products & Chemicals Inc. of Trexlertown announced Thursday that it will raise prices on liquid and bulk industrial gases, and also raise service charges in North America.
The changes will take effect October 1, or as contracts permit, according to a company press release.
Liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon, and liquid and bulk hydrogen prices are expected to go up 5 to 10 percent. Monthly service charges may see a 3 to 5 percent hike. Air Products is raising prices to offset higher operating and input costs.
