ViewFinder: Satori performs at Macungie Institute

Chamber music ensemble has repertoire from baroque to 21st century.

Satori, a five-piece chamber music ensemble, performed a program of selections from Haydn, Jaques Ibert, Francesco Molino and others on Feb. 27 at the Macungie Institute.

The group's name, Satori, is a zen term that means "the coming together of separate parts to form a whole." Their musical genres run from baroque and classical to 21st century compositions.

Their next concert will be at 3 p.m. April 10 at Wesley Church in Bethlehem. After that, Satori will perform a Jazz Caberet at 7:30 p.m. June 17 at Allentown's Symphony Hall.
