Victory BrewGrass Fest Hailed as a Success

Lehigh Valley Preferred Cycling Center officials say Saturday's day-long concert drew thousands of music fans and left people turned on to the sport of cycling.

Last Saturday's Victory BrewGrass Fest, held at the Lehigh Valley Preferred Cycling Center in Breinigsville, was hailed by organizers as a resounding success.

The day of music marked the first time a concert of this size has been held at Valley Preferred Cycling Center, and the event was a huge success, thanks in large part to the fans that flocked to jam out to some of the greatest Bluegrass bands in the country.

Ten bands combined to play over eight hours of live music, on two stage areas. Not even torrential downpours could stop the crowd from dancing and singing along late into the night.

”The Valley Preferred Cycling Center proved to be the ideal venue for the organically themed BrewGrass Festival,” said Chuck Domino, co-promoter of the event. “The venue, tucked away in the serenity of a meticulously well maintained park, came alive with world class blue grass music that resonated with all of the attendees."

“This was the first year hosting the Victory BrewGrass Fest and we couldn’t be happier. Thousands flocked from all over the area, as it was many people’s first time at Valley Preferred Cycling Center.  The concert proved to spread awareness of the world-class venue as I was personally asked numerous times about the track and the programs we offer to the community, “said Valley Preferred Cycling Center Marketing Manager Alicia Marinelli. “People that were never here before could not believe how beautiful the venue was and never imagined the tracked was sloped as much as it was. The event provided great bluegrass music, delicious Victory brews and vendor foods. Best of all it left thousands of people intrigued by the velodrome and the sport of cycling.”

The support of the concert didn’t stop at just the fans and organizers. Victory created a special brew, Bicycle Bock, in honor of the event, a testament to the passion for this concert. The craft brew may be back for VeloFest on Oct. 5.
