The reason is simple: Saturdays are already a busy day for bike sellers.
"The weather gets warmer and bike shop owners see an large increase in traffic on spring weekends," the center said in a news release. "The change to Sunday will allow bike shops to stay open Saturday and attend VeloFest the next day."
That day is Sunday, May 4, when shoppers will be able to find deals on:
- New and Vintage Bikes
- Jerseys, Helmets, and Shoes
- Tubes, Tires, and Wheels
- Parts and Accessories
- Endurance Sports Gear
