PCL Annual Summer Celebrity, at Parkland High School

Parkland Community Library will celebrate the end of Novel Destinations Adult Summer Reading club with a speech and book signing by Elaine Viets, Florida mystery writer.

At Parkland High School.

Elaine Viets writes two national bestselling mystery series. Her Dead-End Job series is a satiric look at a serious subject – the minimum-wage world. Her character, Helen Hawthorne, works a different low-paying job each book, from telemarketer to hotel maid. The critically acclaimed Pumped for Murder is the tenth Dead-End Job book.
