Fox broadcasting has chosen 11 locations across the country to hold advance screenings of the first episode of "American Idol's" 12th season.
The AMC Plymouth movie theater was chosen as the host for the Philadelphia region, and will be opening its doors Wednesday, Jan. 9, at 7 p.m.
Fans are invited to the free event to watch the first episode, a week ahead of its network debut, and participate in a virtual Q&A with the show's judges following the premiere.
Doors open at 6 p.m., but attendees are asked to RSVP by visiting www.idolrsvp.com.
Events are also being held in cities such as New York, Boston, and Chicago, and judges Mariah Carey, Randy Jackson, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban will answer questions from Los Angeles.
AMC Plymouth is located at 494 Germantown Pike, Plymouth Meeting.
