The annual community Christmas tree lighting will take place at 6 tonight, Dec. 9, at Fogelsville's Church Street Park, followed by caroling in the village.
Members of St. John's Lutheran Church and St. John's United Church of Christ are hosting. Fogelsville Fire Company volunteers will join in the festivities.
After the caroling, cookies and hot chocolate will be served at St. John's UCC.
"It's a lot of fun," said Joanne Marchetto, pastor of St. John’s UCC, in Fogelsville. The caroling was new last year, but the tree lighting has been a long tradition.
The community is invited.
