Shelter Animals in Need of Homes

Meet little Lizzy, and two feline friends, Timmy and Ginger

Each week Upper Macungie Patch features shelter animals in need of loving, permanent homes. This week meet a sweet pair of kitties and a playful puppy, all in need of adoption. If you or someone you know is thinking of adding a furry friend to your home, won’t you consider adopting?

TIMMY & GINGER

These siblings came from a feral colony at a mobile home park where their mom still resides. Now about 16 weeks old, they are happy, loving, and friendly kitties. They will both make wonderful indoor cats.

Timmy, the male, was a bit shy when he first came in; he now loves human contact. He has a beautiful tiger-striped coat and big beautiful eyes. Timmy likes to cuddle, purr, and play with his sister.

Ginger, the female, is very sweet and playful. She loves to chase her brother and play with catnip mice. She is a beautiful tabico—she has a light brown tabby coat with an undertone of orange swirls.

Due to their strong bond, this pair must be adopted together. They are both up to date on shots, flea free, dewormed, and FeLV/FIV negative. In addition, they will be spayed/neutered before adoption.

LIZZY

A six-month-old hound mix, Lizzy is a super sweet girl! She is a puppy to the fullest extent; she loves to run around and play with her foster friends. She will require training and housebreaking, but this young lady has already demonstrated she is a quick learner.

Currently 40 pounds, Lizzy is micro chipped, spayed, current on vaccines, dewormed, and has been treated for fleas. A mix of brown, black, and white decorate her short coat. While she had a case of kennel cough while in a kill shelter, Lizzy is now healthy enough to find her permanent home.

Lizzy is available through SPICER Animal Rescue, www.spicer.petfinder.org
