Motorists Can Expect Delays This Week In Upper Mac And Surrounding Locales

PennDOT is performing several road projects in the area.

PennDOT says local motorists can face delays this week in Upper Macungie Township and several surrounding communities due to ongoing projects. Motorists will face lane restrictions and flagging through the following work zones: 

-- Motorists can expect delays today on Schantz Road in Upper Macungie Township between Route 863 and Adams Road due to drainage work from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

-- Motorists can expect delays Wednesday in Weisenburg Township on Werleys Corner Road, between Route 863 and Mountain Road due to roadway patching from 7 am. to 3 p.m.

-- Motorists can expect delays Thursday at Seipstown Road in Upper Macungie Township and Weisenberg Township between Route 863 and Tilghman Street, due to maintenance-related work from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

-- Motorists can expect delays Thursday in South Whitehall Township between Tilghman Street and Route 22 due to roadway patching from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lane restrictions with flagging will cause delays in the area.

-- Motorists can expect delays Thursday and Friday in Lower Macungie Township, due to pothole patching on Walnut Street, between Brookside Road and Main Street between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
