Each week Upper Macungie Patch features pets in need of good homes through local animal welfare groups. This week’s featured pets are Blanche and Harry, two adorable animals with lots of love to offer. If you are looking for a furry companion, please consider adopting!
BLANCHE
This brown tabby is a real sweetheart. She loves to cuddle, give kisses and enjoys just observing those around her. Originally a barn cat whose farm was lost through foreclosure, Blanche now loves indoor living and has no desire to return outside. Her soulful eyes, dainty white feet and the white smudge on her nose are all distinctive features that only add to her beauty. Close to 2-years-old, she is house trained and is not declawed. With both her kittens adopted, Blanche is lonely. She needs a loving home, where she will make a wonderful companion.

HARRY

This Bernese Mountain Dog mix is referred to as a happy-go-lucky guy. He gets along well with both dogs and cats. Believed to have lived most of his life in a crate, Harry has some muscle atrophy in his back legs. While this doesn’t stop him from wanting to walk and go outside, he would do best in a home without many stairs. Harry is no more than 4-years-old, is up to date on shots and is neutered. His coat is primarily black, with camel-colored legs and paws. He’s a handsome man with a great personality. Can’t you offer him a place to call home?
Harry is available through www.thesanctuarypa.org or by calling Brittney at 610-533-4141.
