Why Go: Watch a great game and kick off the season as Parkland football teams from 1996-97, 1997-98, and 1998-99 are recognized for their winning seasons.

2.    YARD SALE/COMMUNITY DAY

Where/When: St. Anne’s, 6667 Lower Macungie Rd., Trexlertown; Saturday, 8 am – 2 pm

Why Go: Check out yard sale treasures, enjoy entertainment, and face painting for kids. Delicious homemade soup, hot dogs, and baked goods will be available to purchase. All proceeds benefit St. Anne’s.

3.    10TH ANNUAL ANGEL RIDE FUNDRAISER

Where/When: St. Joseph the Worker, 1879 Applewood Dr., Orefield; Sunday, 1:30 pm

Why Go: All are invited to ride for the children at this annual event. Sponsorship forms are available by calling 610-395-2876.

4.    POTLUCK/ANNUAL AMISH HORSESHOE CONTEST

Where/When: , Weiler’s Road and Hamilton Boulevard, Breinigsville; Sunday, 11:30 am

Why Go: Enjoy a potluck meal and an afternoon of fun at this annual event. 

Pricing: Free. Please bring a potluck dish.

5.    HARVEST HOME SUNDAY

Where/When: , 1028 Church St., Fogelsville; Sunday, 11:30 am

Why Go: Donated canned goods and produce will be available to purchase after service. All proceeds from the sale and other donations will be given to the local food bank.
