Five PennDOT Road Projects in Upper Macungie This Week
PennDOT crews will be performing pothole patching, inspections and brush cutting work throughout Upper Macungie Township this week, which might slow traffic on certain major arteries.
Getting around this week in Upper Macungie might be a little more difficult, due to several road work projects planned by PennDOT.
These are the projects PennDOT has planned around Upper Macungie this week:
- Tilghman Street between Interstate 78 and Route 476
- When: Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Type of Work: Inspection
- Work being Done By: PennDOT Maintenance Forces
- RESTRICTION: Alternating lane restrictions eastbound. Use caution when traveling through work area.
- Route 100 between Industrial Drive and Penn Drive
- When: Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Type of Work: Pothole Patching
- Work being Done By: PennDOT Maintenance Forces
- RESTRICTION: Lane restriction northbound. Use caution when traveling through work area.
- Route 100 between Schantz Road and Spring Creek Road
- When: Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon
- Type of Work: Inspection
- Work being Done By: PennDOT Maintenance Forces
- RESTRICTION: Lane restriction southbound. Use caution when traveling through work area.
- Route 22 between Interstate 78 and the Pa. Turnpike Exit
- When: Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Type of Work: Inspection
- Work being Done By: PennDOT Bridge Inspection Forces
- RESTRICTION: Eastbound lane restriction.
- Interstate 78 between exit 49 (Route 100) and exit 45 (Route 863)
- When: Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Type of Work: Brush Cutting
