Charlotte and Eeyore Are Seeking Good Homes

They are this week's Shelter Animals in Need.

Each week we feature animals in need of good homes from local animal welfare groups.  These two lovable creatures are currently up for adoption. Won’t you consider giving one of them a forever home?

CHARLOTTE

This beautiful long hair dilute torti female was found abandoned in a retirement building.  She was initially depressed and had difficulty bonding with people, but Charlotte now loves to be petted and brushed and purrs like crazy.  She would probably do best as an only kitty or with an older cat in the home.  She is estimated to be between five and six years old, is spayed, and is current with vaccines. She has tested negative for FIV and FeLV.  If interested in Charlotte, contact the Cat Shack at 610-967-9097 or www.thecatshack.rescuegroups.org

EEYORE

Found as a stray, this lovable guy got his name since he sounds like a donkey when he gets excited.  A pit mix, Eeyore is approximately two years old and is up to date on vaccines. Since he loves to run, Eeyore would probably do best with a fenced in yard.  He is learning basic commands, but due to his strength would probably do well in a home without small children. Not fond of being alone, his ideal home would have someone with him most of the day.  For more information on Eeyore, visit www.thesanctuarypa.org or call Brittney at 610-533-4141.
