Bear Creek Resort Offering Free Lift Tickets In Exchange For Scholarship Donation
A minimum $5 donation to the Marc M. McKently Scholarship Fund is all that's required.
t in Macungie offering free extended day ski lift tickets today through Thursday in exchange for a $5 donation to the Marc M. McKently Scholarship Fund.
McKently, who attended Oley Valley High School, was killed in a Feb. 9 automobile accident. McKently was a member of the Bear Creek Snowsports School team.
Bear Creek is offering a free extended day lift ticket, normally $46, to each guest who donates a minimum of $5 to the scholarship fund.

A memorial torchlight ceremony in remembrance of McKently is scheduled for Saturday, March 12 at 8:30 p.m. Bear Creek will also be accepting contributions for the Marc M. McKently Scholarship Fund on the night of the torchlight ceremony.
