5 Things To Know In Upper Macungie This Week
It's Memorial Day, the weather's great and several upcoming events are scheduled.
1. Memorial Day: Monday is Memorial Day, a state and federal holiday. Schools are closed. Most banks are closed. Retail and entertainment establishments are open.
2. Weather: Summer-like weather will continue this week, according to the National Weather Service with temperatures rising into the high 80s and low 90s under sunny skies for a majority of the week.
3. Sports: Recreational volleyball continues Wednesday nights through mid-June at Jaindl Elementary School's gym.

4. School: Athletic Awards Night at Parkland High School will take place Wednesday night at 7 p.m. The high school is located at 2700 N. Cedar Crest Blvd. in Allentown.
5. Municipal: The Upper Macungie Board of Supervisors is scheduled to meet Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in the municipal complex, located at 8330 Schantz Road in Breinigsville.
