5 Things To Know In Upper Macungie This Week

Great weather, a public hearing and a dog park ground-breaking are all on tap.

1. Weather: Another great weather week is on tap, according to the  National Weather Service with temperatures rising into the high 80s under sunny skies for a majority of the week.

2. Sports: Recreational volleyball continues Wednesday nights through mid-June at Jaindl Elementary School's gym.

3. School: Senior exams will take place at Parkland High School Wednesday with a makeup date scheduled Thursday.

4. Municipal: The Upper Macungie Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing Thursday night at 7 p.m. in the municipal complex, located at 8330 Schantz Road in Breinigsville. The topics are SALDO changes and re-zoning issues.

5. Recreation: A ground-breaking ceremony will be held for the municipal dog park, located at the Route 100 Park (Upper Macungie Park) Saturday at 10 a.m.
