Trucks parked on Weilers Road near the school.

Why are tractor trailers allowed to parked on the side of Weilers Rd in close proximity to the school?  This is not a once in a while thing it is all the time first it was a Yellow Tractor with box trailer and lately I have been seeing a blue tractor with a flatbead trailer.  I know these vehicles cause my daughter-in-law concern when she visits and runs early in the morning.

I have commented on this same thing to my husband several times.

Hello jwhif, in regards to your question- I do not believe Weilers Rd. is "posted" (signs erected) with no-parking signs. If no signs exist, then this is a perfectly legal practice. The road is a "local" township road, so if you have comments or suggestions on making improvements, you would want to contact the township at 610-395-4892. Keep in mind, our office fields questions similar to yours (about streets and signs) all the time. We are at your service, so please don't ever hesitate to contact us with these type questions. Our headquarters phone number is 484-661-5911. Thanks and have a joyous holiday season!
