Wednesday in Upper Macungie: Bingo and Story Times

Wednesday, Oct. 2 is expected to feature sunny skies and temperatures near 83 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

Here's what going on Wednesday in and around Upper Macungie: 

  • The Fogelsville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary will host bingo at the firehouse, located at 7850 Lime Street in Fogelsville, on Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the kitchen begins serving food at 5:45 p.m. For more information, call 610-395-5479.

  • Story times have returned to the Parkland Community Library. On Wednesday, family story time runs from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. for children 18 months to three years old. Story time for preschoolers age three through five gets underway at 1 p.m. Registration is required. Call 610-398-1361, ext. 19, for more information.
  • Chick-fil-A in Trexlertown is offering free breakfasts every day this week from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at 6379 Hamilton Boulevard. Tuesday is the second day of the promotion.
  • The Ancient Oaks Women's Organization will meet at St. Paul's UCC Church, 1249 Trexlertown Road in Trexlertown, at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
  • A Narcotics Anonymous meeting will take place at St. Paul's UCC Church, 1249 Trexlertown Road in Trexlertown at 7:30 p.m.
  • The Parkland girls field hockey team will host Easton Area High School in a Lehigh Valley Conference game at 5:30 p.m.
