Wednesday in Upper Mac: Swimming and Miniature Golf

The Parkland Community Library will hold its Book Quest Discussion group Wednesday night at 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Aug. 21 is expected to feature sunny skies with a high near 89 degrees, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

Here's what's going around in and around Upper Macungie Township:

  • The Terry Hill Water Park, located at 10000 Hamilton Boulevard, is open from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday. The park offers fun for the whole family featuring rainbow slides, a Wild River, a Lazee River, a Tarzan rope and a diving board. The park also features a miniature golf course. Amenities include free use of picnic tables and lounge chairs as well as hot showers and parking. A refreshment stand sells ice cream, hot dogs, hamburgers, snow cones, sodas and iced tea.
  • Liber-tee Miniature Golf Course, at 7720 Adrienne Drive in Breinigsville, is another place to play a game of miniature golf and enjoy some ice cream afterwards. The park is open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday.
  • The Parkland Community Library will host its Book Quest discussion group Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at the library, located at 4422 Walbert Ave. in Allentown.
  • The Upper Macungie Planning Commission will hold its monthly meeting Wednesday night at the township building, located at 8330 Schantz Road.
