Thursday in Upper Macungie: Knitting Circle and Hearing Screenings

Meetings will be held by the Parkland Community Library Board of Directors and the Upper Macungie Recreation Board.

Thursday, Sept. 26 is expected to feature mostly sunny skies with a high temperature near 74 degrees, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

Here's what going on Thursday in and around Upper Macungie:

  • Parkland Community Library will host its Knitting Circle from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday. Spend a fun afternoon swapping knitting tips and tricks. Just bring your knitting materials and enthusiasm. For knitters of all ages and skill levels. Call 610-398-1361 for more information.
  • Hearing screenings will take place Thursday at Jaindl Elementary School in Upper Macungie.
  • The Parkland Library Board of Directors will hold a meeting Thursday at 7 p.m. at the library, located at 4422 Walbert Ave. in South Whitehall.
  • The Parkland High School girls volleyball team will host a match Thursday night at 7 p.m. against Bethlehem Catholic.
  • The Upper Macungie Recreation Board will meeting Thursday night at 7 p.m. at the township building, located at 8330 Schantz Road in Breinigsville.
