The Ben Yorgey Foundation is passionately dedicated to honoring the legacy of Ben Yorgey and generating funds for graduating high school students with special needs across the Lehigh Valley. Ben was driven by an ultimate purpose -- to share his gift of love, and we are all changed people because of it. And through this change, Ben Yorgey Foundation exists to make a positive impact, an impact Ben would be proud of. Never meet a stranger. There is no such thing. Love everyone.

More About Macungie Memorial Park
Macungie Memorial Park has a play area for children including swings and a slide, but it also is a full-service park with a sizable municipal swimming pool as well as a baby pool as well as tennis courts, and baseball and softball fields. There is a place to barbacue and there are covered picnic tables. Benches are all around the park so visitors can sit back and enjoy the outdoors. However, the bandshell -- which has served the park since 1949 -- is probably the hightlight. A stone building also serves as a community center that meets recreational needs.
In addition to active recreation, the park also plays hosts to many passive recreational events including numerous car shows -- highlighted by the annual Awkscht Fescht -- dog shows, the Lions Flea Market and the Farmer's Market.
