Who Likes Summer Camps?

This week’s poll – which is the best summer camp – may prove there’s no place like home.

With only one vote for a summer camp this week, it’s tough to declare a confident winner.

Wildlands Conservancy Summer Camps got the only vote.

Summer camp is way too expensive and the hours are so off the mark. Every year I check out the summer camps and paying close to $200 per week for a 9-3:30 day just won't work for us working parents. If anyone has any ideas for a 10 year old boy, I'd very much appreciate it.

If you are interested in Cub Scouts, Minsi Trails offers various scout day camps throughout the Lehigh Valley. The start at $125 for the week and they offer before and after care for working parents. Find information at www.minsitrails.com under their camping menu.
Also Penn State - Lehigh Valley offers a variety of camps in the summer. They also offer before and after care as part of the program if needed. Find information at http://www2.lv.psu.edu/ce/lvwp/Camps/index.html.
Lastly if you go the Parkland School District website (www.parklandsd.org), the have a long list of websites with summer camp information. You will find camp info under their community tab.
Hope this helps with your research.
