Which is the Best Fireworks Display?

July is a month for fireworks with displays throughout the Lehigh Valley and beyond. Which is your favorite?

On July 4, you'll have lots of choices to see fireworks, but the entire month is really full of rockets' red glare.

Which community or venue does the best display on July 4 or at a community festival? Vote for your favorite.

  • Whitehall, June 30 at Cementon Fair
    • Fireworks close the Cementon Fair at 10:30 pm. June 30 at Cementon Park.
  • Coca-Cola Park, IronPigs Home Games
    • Fireworks shows after the IronPigs baseball games June 29, July 1, July 2, July 3, July 4, July 20, July 27.
  • Bethlehem, July 4, SteelStacks at about 9 p.m.
    • Fireworks at SteelStacks on July 4 are part of an Independence Day celebration that includes an 8 p.m. performance by the Allentown Band at Levitt Pavillion followed by the fireworks.
  • South Whitehall, July 4 at Dorney Park, 9:30 p.m.
    • Dorney Park officials say this July 4 fireworks display will be the “ biggest and best yet.”
  • Allentown, July 4 at J. Birney Crum Stadium, 9:20 p.m.
    • The 55th annual Allentown PAL 4th of July fireworks show at J. Birney Crum Stadium. Gates open at 5:00 p.m., fireworks at 9:20 p.m.
  • Quakertown Community Day, July 4 at 9:30 P.M.
    • Quakertown’s Community Day, on July 4, includes an antique car show, children's activities, food booths, live music and entertainment. Fireworks at 9:30.

Have not seen the Pigs fireworks yet this year. We'll see after the 4th. Nazareth always has one of the best fireworks display.

Iv'e seem Bewthleham,. Allentown, Quakertown, and Nazaeth days. Quakertown is far and away the best of them....It's about the same time but its bigger in the sky and louder!!!!
