What's Open and Closed on Presidents Day
Upper Macungie Township offices, schools and banks are closed. Retail establishments will open. Garbage collection is scheduled as usual.
Monday is the official observance of Presidents Day. It is a federal, state and local holiday. Here is a list of what's open and closed on the holiday:
- Upper Macungie Township offices are closed.
- There will be garbage pickup in the township.
- The Parkland School District is closed.
- The Parkland Community Library is open
- PennDOT driver license centers are closed.
- Banks have the option to open. Most will close.
- State offices are closed.
- District Judge Michael Faulkner's office in Upper Macungie is closed.
- The U.S. Postal Service is closed. There will be no mail delivery.
- The Lehigh County Courthouse is closed.
- U.S. stock and bond markets are closed.
- Most retail establishments and restaurants will be open for business.
