Visitor set fire to welcome mat, police say.
There's putting out the welcome mat . . . and then there's putting out the welcome mat - because it's on fire.
A Lower Macungie Township resident recently discovered that her welcome mat had been burned, according to state police at Fogelsville.
Kathy Ann Schussler reported the criminal mischief incident at 10:51 p.m. July 5 at 4626 Belmont Drive.
