Upper Macungie's Varvara Lepchenko and her mixed doubles partner Donald Young lost their mixed doubles match Sunday at the U.S. Open in New York, according to a report in The Morning Call.
The report said the pair lost the match by the score of 6-2, 4-6, 1-0 (7-10) in a tiebreaker.
The report said Lepchenko plans to play three more tournaments this year -- in Seoul, Korea; in Beijing, China; and in Moscow, Russia.
