Drinking Party Ends With 2 Taken to Hospital, Police Say
Upper Macungie police busted a party in the township early Sunday and say 12 guests were underage, two had to be taken to a hospital.
Drunken pranks led police to bust a party in Upper Macungie Township early Sunday and two guests were so intoxicated they had to be taken to a hospital, Upper Macungie police say.
Police went to the Heather Fields development to check out reports of someone ringing doorbells and running away at 2:30 a.m.
Police followed tracks in the snow directly to 333 Indigo Way, where they found Michael and Stephen Yang hosting a party with 12 guests who were underage, according to a police press release.
Two people were taken by ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital "due to extremely high levels of intoxication," police said.
The other minors were released from the scene to their parents.
Charges of furnishing alcohol to minors against Michael and Stephen Yang are pending with District Judge Michael Faulkner, police said.
Editor's Note: This article has been corrected to identify Upper Macungie police as the investigators. An earlier version incorrectly said state police investigated.

How sad is this and another example of how our society is today. Even more sad for the negative press that UMT is subjected to in this article. These kids are out of control, from the rape case in Ohio to the clear lack of responsibility by the parents of trusting these obviously immature children. Thank god no one died or some poor girl was abused in this home. These kids should be taught a lesson, put them in jail for a week. I have heard of the doorbell ringing act. In this day and age and with all the gun freaks in this area, they are lucky they did not ring the wrong doorbell. Dumb kids will never learn.

Look at the parents! That's where it usually starts! Kids of today were taught that their needs and desires come first and God forbid parents hold their children accountable for their bad behavior...not my kid! Most kids are spoiled brats with little character and integrity! Those things need to be taught. They don't just spring up overnight!

as a friend of one of the yangs i can say that in school he was very bright top notch never slacked in anything and now people wanna say blame the parents....... let a kid be a kid i understand drinking is OVER 21 but as long as they were being safe and not out drinking and driving who cares its their bodies........
im not saying it was okay for those kids to be so intoxicated to be taken to hospital but come on if the older generation would teach about being responsible instead of saying just don't do it. they might not be so curious.
