A tractor trailer overturned at 12:33 p.m. Thursday as it attempted to turn right onto Grim Road from the Route 222 bypass, Upper Macungie police said.

Grim Road was closed for a while while workers cleared the roadway. It is now open.

The truck driver, Francisco Valenzuela of Allentown, had been traveling south on the Route 222 bypass when he attempted the turn. The vehicle overturned on the driver's side.

The accident is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 484-661-5911.

Police did not indicate if the driver was injured.
