Upper Macungie will have a new business in the very near future.

Hazleton-based Yorie Tile & Terrazzo Inc. purchased a 13,000-square-foot building on Schantz Road and will move into the township at an undisclosed date, according to a report on Lehigh Valley Live.

The report states the company makes tile and terrazzo for commercial builders.

The report also states the property was sold for $1.065 million from former owner, D&D Property Management.

There is no timetable on the number of employees the company will hire or when it will move into Upper Macungie.
