Supervisors Give OK to New Police Department Hire
Upper Macungie supervisors approved the hiring of a full-time front desk person.
Upper Macungie supervisors on Thursday unanimously approved the hiring of a full-time front-desk person for the newly created township police department.
The employee will earn $35,000 per year.
The job will begin Nov. 5.
The township held a swearing-in ceremony for the new police chief and two lieutenants in August.
