A small ammonia leak in the dock area was reported at Americold Logistics, 651 Mill Road in Fogelsville, on Friday morning.
Plant workers contained the leak before firefighters arrived. Upper Macungie's three fire departments responded along with Cetronia Ambulance and the Lehigh County haz-mat team.
Americold specializes in temperature-controlled warehousing and logistics for the food industry, offering warehousing, transportation, and logistics around the world.
Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Americold owns and operates more than 180 temperature-controlled warehouses in the United States.
