Funny though, isn't Toomey's health care 100% covered for himself & his families? Does he pay anything? Toomey = take & take & take.

I thought the affordable care act, Obamacare, was trying to take 1/2 trillion away from Medicare. Think about that protestors.

Funny, the black guy with the long hair was at the voter ID protest on Hamilton Street on July 25th and at the protests at Representative Simmons office on May 23rd and April 18th. Seems a little strange that he would be at all these protests on different subjects. Occupy Wall Street, Education Funding, Voter ID and now Alliance for retired Americans. Wonder if he is what you call a community organizer? How much does a community organizer get paid, and by who? Next time you see a protest look for him. By the way I asked him where he lives... New York.

Talk about taking all these old people taking from our youth The amount they paid into social security and medicaid was insignificiant and they are taking everything we pay into it now so when my age group goes o retire there will be nothing left. Old people are selfish.

Sorry you feel that way, but I paid into Social Security for 47 years. I don't feel bad about taking what is mine now. It's not the older people you should be concerned with. Lots of people collect SS including children without both parents, disabled people etc.You should be upset with your government for mishandling the money. I, for one, am enjoying mine immensely and rightfully so. If it's any comfort to you, you can't live on SS anyhow. It's not a pension. Stop whining and start saving.

Lower Saucon Guy - I agree. Seems us older folks paid into the fund much more than we get in return. You make do and throw out the rest. C'est la vie.

Slyfox, Amen to that. I hope I live long enough to get all mine back. What a long strange trip it's been.
