Registration begins at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10, for Parkland Community Library's seven-week Fall Family and Preschool storytime sessions. 

Family Storytime, for children 18 months to 3 years old, will be held:

• 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesdays, from Oct. 3 to Nov. 14.
• 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursdays, from Oct. 4 to Nov. 15.

An adult must stay with each child. Older and younger siblings may attend. There will be stories, songs and games for the family.

Pre-School Storytime, for children ages 3 to 5, will be held:

• 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, from Oct. 3 to Nov. 14
• 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursdays, from Oct. 4 to Nov. 15

Parents have to remain in the library but do not have to attend with their children. There will be stories, songs, games and crafts.

The library also will host a drop-in storytime on Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Oct. 5 through Nov. 16. No registration is required.
