Photos: Faces Show Horrors of Meth Abuse

A Rehabs.com campaign to prevent meth abuse features shocking before-and-after photos of meth users.

A new campaign against crystal meth shows the ravages of the drug on human faces.

The "Horrors of Methamphetamines," launched by Rehabs.com, claims to show the physical self-destruction that the drug is capable of.

Researchers admit the photos are shocking but they may not do much to deter drug abuse, according to a Huffington Post report.

Locally, dangerous home-based meth operations have made headlines across the Lehigh Valley, including a fire scare in Lower Macungie in October.

A suspected $3.5 million meth ring that included the Lehigh Valley was busted in November.

If you do heroine while pregnant, and your child is born addicted to heroine, then you should GO TO JAIL & immediately lose custody of that child and any other children that she had. How is the person NOT imprison for criminal endangerment?? There is nobody else responsible than the "mother" for the unborn. I am sick over the fact that these children in PA are not properly protected by the law and go into the foster care system while the "mother" who took heroine does not get any criminal charges and then still gets to see her child once a week for an hour while someone else does all the hard work of dealing with a child coming off of a drug. Let's change the law in PA for the sake of these children.
