A PennDOT spokesman said at least 15 concrete barriers will have to be replaced following Wednesday's three truck accident on Interstate 78.

A report on Lehigh Valley Live.com said the accident at the merge point of I-78 and Route 22 caused the concrete barriers to become damaged or in need of repair.

The spokesman said the extent of the damage was not clear, but those barriers that were knocked over are likely to be replaced.

The report also said State Police at Fogelsville noted there is not a news release available on the crash and that injuries were reported.
