We heard your requests for a Patch website in North Whitehall, and we're responding!

Patch launched a new site for the North Whitehall community Thursday.

With a growing population, vibrant educational community and business development in progress, North Whitehall residents and businesses will receive more local news coverage and a platform for community information and engagement.

Patch, a community-specific news, information and engagement platform, launched in the Lehigh Valley in 2010. Patch.com now reaches residents and businesses across 12 websites in the Lehigh Valley, from Easton to Emmaus and Upper Macungie.

With the addition of North Whitehall Patch, this raises the number of Patch.com sites in eastern Pennsylvania to 48.

Patch started in 2008 with three sites in New Jersey and has grown to more than 850 sites nationwide. Patch is owned by AOL.
